Early Spring on the North Platte

Earlier in the week my buddy Tanner and I shot up to the Miracle Mile in Wyoming.  As usual, we were met with wind....lots of wind.  The wind didn't hurt the fishing at all.  With Rainbows getting into their pre spawn mode, there are a lot of fish in both the deep runs and those riffles that also have some substantial depth.  The water is gin clear and conditions couldn't be better.  The fishing will only improve in the coming weeks, which is hard to believe.  All of the typical Mile bugs produced, and produced with big numbers.   Once you find the fish, there is typically several more to follow.  Below are some pictures from our trip.
