Spring Fly Fishing with Addictive Angling Colorado

Spring Colorado fly fishing trips on the South Platte River have been good to great on many days.  This spring we saw some truly impressive fish despite the low water levels.  While the yearly migration of trout from Eleven Mile Reservoir is quickly coming to a close, there is still some great fishing to be had!  As the lake fish head back to the reservoir, we have some of our best fishing during the early summer months before runoff begins.  We are finding success with both nymphs and dry flies, while streamers have turned a few fish as well.  Looking forward, the summer season on the South Platte River provides anglers for countless opportunities to catch large trout on nymphs and dry flies.  There is nothing quite like watching a big leopard spotted Brown Trout slowly come to the surface to sip a dry fly.  To book your Colorado Fly Fishing Guided Trip, please visit www.addictiveanglingcolorado.com today! Below are some pictures of some great fish we have caught on recent trips.
