Low Water, Good Fish

Had a trip today at Deckers on the South Platte River with Molly and Brendan from MD.  The day started off on fire landing 20" bow in the first 5 minutes.  The rest of the day fished well on stones, worms, and little beadheads. The water was very low due to the repair work happening on Cheesman Dam.  It seems as though all of the Platte drainage is fishing well and WILL CONTINUE to fish well throughout runoff and into the summer.  Do not let high water scare you off, it means big bugs that the fish can see and working the edges!  Headed to the Dream Stream tomorrow for a personal day, I will try to post some info on the day tomorrow.  Tight lines as always!
