Colorado Summer Fly Fishing

It has been a little over a month since I last posted a report.  In that time, flows on many of the stretches of the South Platte River hit historically high levels.  That being said, the water is dropping now and fishing has been good to great on the Dream Stream.  This is some of the best Colorado Fly Fishing that we have seen this year.  We are seeing some big fish being caught daily on both nymphs and dries.  Yes, that's right I said dry flies.  We are picking up some great fish on the surface, even with the flows being over 600 cfs.  July is pretty booked up, but I do have a handful of days still available.  August is a little more open and we are expecting this to be one of the best Augusts in recent memory.  To book your Colorado Fly Fishing Trip, visit www.addictiveanglingcolorado.com or give me a call at 719-494-6480.  We look forward to sharing some of this great fishing with you!
